Brave the Bully Seminar will be held at Defensive Edge on Tuesday, September 20th from 5 PM - 7 PM.  3rd Grade and up.  Taught by the Program's founder, Rick Alford.

Now more than ever children need to be educated on how to deal with bullies.  In this comprehensive Bully Buster program Grades 3 and up, Alford will teach kids effective methods of dealing with bullies without having to resort to violence.  Kids will learn how to identify a bully, how to prevent themselves from becoming victims as well as the importance of being the bystander.  “I’ll discuss techniques that can be used to make them be less likely to be targeted, as well as the importance of valuing differences among other kids,” explains Alford.

This is not your average Bully program that just teaches to ignore the bully or just to walk away.  That method can lead to being labeled and "easy target" explains Alford.  "Our Method teaches the A.C.T. principles.  (Avoid, Communication, Techniques if necessary).  This is a reality based program that your child can use right away.
