Bobby Barnes earns his black belt at Defensive Edge!

After over 9 years of training Bobby Barnes passed his black belt test on Satuday, June 25th.  His test lasted about 3 hours and consisted of multiple attacks from a variety of scenarios, including armed attacks and multiple attackers!

Bobby Barnes (47) is a Deputy Chief for the MassPort Fire Dept.  "I'm very proud of Bobby" Sensei Rick said.  "He's been working very hard for a long time to reach this goal".  Rick added "He has had to overcome some injuries and personal challenges on his way to reaching this milestone".  Click Read More to view the photo gallery!
